Design and construction
The intermediate circuit DC capacitors are available in a variety of designs such as, for example, with metallized film and double-sided metallized film capacitors, as dry non-inductive capacitors in a plastic or aluminium housing.
Features
- Voltage range from 250 VDC up to 20’000 VDC
- Capacitance range from 0,001 uF up to 6’000 uF
- Capacitance tolerance ± 5%, ± 10% and ± 20%
Applications
For DC capacitors in intermediate circuits, there are a variety of applications such as GTO snubber circuits, frequency converters in wind turbines, solar inverters, solar and wind inverters, switching applications, filters etc.
