Construction and execution
As carrier for the resistance wire, a fibreglass cord is used. The wire-winding is safely joined with the tinned copper connecting wires over pressed-on caps. The surface protection consists of an incombustible mulit-layer silicone cement shroud, which has a temperature resistance of more than 350 °C. On request with axial tabs (type SFD) or radial tabs (type SFR).
