Construction and execution
Our slide resistors consist of a ceramic resistor body with a resistance winding made of CuNi wire. Special carbon contacts are used for the rheostat slider, and these can be moved easily, even when they are hot. The resistors are fitted with an IP20-rated protective cover as standard, and the cover has a black painted finish. The resistor connectors are routed out via three 4 mm laboratory bushings and are thus well suited for both temporary and permanent installations. The rheostats are also available in a multiple-unit design with up to six units, and also in a motorised design.
